This slide deck gives a quick overview of Apple VoiceOver.
VoiceOver is a screen reader built into the operating system of all Apple products.
It was first introduced in Mac OS X 10.4.
VoiceOver is designed to increase accessibility for blind and low-vision users, as well as for users with dyslexia.
VoiceOver treats the user interface as a hierarchy of elements, which are navigated by various keystrokes.
Before using VoiceOver, it is important to understand how to navigate websites and applications using the keyboard only.
We'll start by opening a demonstration page to practice on.
